EFT Tapping
What is EFT?
EFT, also known as tapping, is an evidence-based mind–body technique that helps reduce emotional intensity, calm the nervous system, and shift the subconscious patterns that keep you feeling stuck. It combines elements of modern psychology with gentle acupressure, making it a grounded and effective approach for emotional regulation and inner healing.
During a session, we tap with our fingertips on specific acupressure points on the face and upper body while exploring the emotions, memories, or beliefs that are ready to be released. This process sends a calming signal to the brain, particularly the parts involved in stress and fight-or-flight reactions, helping your body feel safe enough to process difficult emotions and let old patterns soften.
EFT can support deep shifts in areas like anxiety, stress, self-doubt, people-pleasing, low self-worth and experiences where you feel disconnected from yourself. In our work together, you don’t have to have it all figured out, you just have to show up as you are. Every emotion, thought, or pattern is met with compassion and curiosity, giving you the space to breathe and create the inner shifts that lead to lasting change.

EFT, also known as tapping, is a gentle mind–body technique that helps calm the nervous system, release emotional intensity and shift the subconscious patterns that keep you feeling stuck. It involves tapping with your fingertips on specific acupressure points while tuning into the thoughts, emotions or memories that are ready to be explored.
This sends a calming signal to the brain, helping your body feel safe enough to process what has been held beneath the surface. As your system relaxes, old patterns begin to soften and new ways of thinking and feeling can emerge more naturally. -
Everyone’s journey is different, and the number of sessions depends on what you are working through. Some people notice meaningful shifts within a few sessions, while deeper or long-standing patterns need more time and support.

Sessions are calm, supportive and guided at your pace. We begin by exploring how you are feeling and what you would like to work on. I then guide you through the tapping process, helping you connect with the emotions or beliefs that are ready to shift.
You’ll tap on specific points while speaking out loud, and I’ll offer prompts based on your words and what arises for you in the moment. Many people describe sessions as grounding, relieving and surprisingly clarifying. You are always in control, and you never have to share anything you don’t want to. -

EFT can sit alongside therapy or coaching, as it works with the body and nervous system in a way that complements talking approaches. If you’re receiving therapeutic support, it can be helpful to let your therapist know you’re also doing EFT so they can support your overall process.
If you’re unsure whether combining approaches is right for you, we can discuss it together and make sure it feels safe, supportive and aligned with your needs. -
Once a session is booked I require 24 hours notice of a cancellation. Without this notice the full fee will be payable.
